The CCUH Behavioral Health Center staff is comprised of psychiatrists who are assisted by registered nurses, therapists, and counselors, all of whom have experience with mental health treatment.

Two levels of care will be provided at Union Hospital Behavioral Health Center-partial hospitalization, whereby patients spend six hours a day, up to four or five days a week, in a hospital environment; and an intensive outpatient program, where our staff works with patients three or four days a week for three to five hours.

Actual counseling may be individual, with families or in group settings involving evaluations, medication management and recommendations for nutrition, wellness and life skills. Programs can last over a period of weeks or months, depending on what is appropriate and necessary to help our patients achieve satisfactory, rewarding lives.

Our programs offer professional and effective behavioral health treatment services for those diagnosed with:

  • Depression
  • General anxiety
  • Post-traumatic stress disorder
  • Bipolar issues
  • Behavioral disorders
  • Panic disorder
  • Social anxiety
  • Schizophrenia
  • Other mental health related problems

People who are acutely suicidal, addicted to drugs or alcohol, or potentially harmful to others will likely be referred to other appropriate resources.
